Becoming a card watcher in Kanban Zone allows you to receive notifications on card changes in your Kanban Zone notification panel and easily filter your Zones to find cards you are interested in quickly.

Start Watching a Card

Kanban Zone provides members of a board the ability to watch a card.

Assign a card watcher to the card using the watchers action button

To assign one or more watchers to a card:

1. Open your card by clicking on the card from within any of the Zones to open the card editor.
2. Once in the card editor, click the  (watcher) action button and select the board member(s) you want.

Automatic card watching through task assignment

To assign a card watcher automatically to a card:

1. Open your card by clicking on the card from within any of the Zones to open the card editor.
2. Once in the card editor, assign a board member to any task. When a board member is assigned to a task on a card, they will automatically become a watcher of the card.

Stop Watching a Card

Kanban Zone provides members of a board the ability to stop watching a card.

Remove a specific card watcher from a card

To remove a card watcher from a card:

1. Open your card by clicking on the card from within any of the Zones to open the card editor.
2. Once in the card editor, click the specific watcher avatar to be prompted to remove the watcher.
3. Choose Remove from the menu.

Remove one or more card watchers from a card

To remove one or more card watchers from a card:

1. Open your card by clicking on the card from within any of the Zones to open the card editor.
2. Once in the card editor, click the (watcher) action button.
3. Click each of the card watchers who are indicated with the   (checklist) in the menu that you would like to remove.
