Never miss a card with column watching

Kanban boards are ideal to visualize work and signal team members when a card needs their attention. If you are focused on doing work in a specific column of a Kanban board and never want to miss a new card entering it, then turn ON column watching for that column.

How to set up column watching in Kanban Zone…

To watch a column, click on the column menu and click on “Watch Column”.

With the watch column enabled, you will see the watcher icon on that column. This alert will also generate a notification in the Alert panel. If you have email notifications enabled, you will also receive an email notification about this card.

I love this feature because it helps me monitor a specific column without having to constantly be on the board. As soon as a card enters a watched column I receive a notification and I can choose to immediately take action, or at a minimum be aware of this new card.
