Embrace Visual Management

In April, you have the opportunity to improve the way you visualize and manage work with Kanban Zone. This month we are re-introducing a fun, and yet powerful ability to add tokens/stickers on cards.

In addition, we updated the Table Zone view to provide you with the ability to visualize and filter even tasks listed as checklist items on cards across your projects.

Last but not least from a product perspective, you now have the ability to filter archived items so you can come back to completed work and find the cards you’re looking for with greater ease.

Like every other month, we want to bring your attention to the latest learning resources you can leverage for improving individual, team, and organizational performance.

Tokens/Stickers

Tokens

Tokens and stickers are an incredibly simple and fun way to improve the status visualization of your work items. With just a few clicks, you now have the ability to add important information in an eye-catching way.

At this time, tokens can be used as stickers until we add the ability to limit them to provide the ability to use them as replenishment tokens and leverage the drum-buffer-rope technique.

To build eye-catching tokens, you can choose between a wide variety of icons and customize their background colors as you please. Learn more about tokens

Tasks in Table Zone

The next time you seek to analyze your data in the Table Zone, you will see a new Tasks option.

Once clicked, the data in the table will only show tasks, grouped by default to their respective cards and checklist. Just like with cards, you can modify the grouping, sort, and filter.

This finally provides you with the ability to see all the tasks assigned to a specific owner with due dates and interact with your tasks from one or multiple boards. Learn more about the Table Zone…

Archive Improvements

Although the archive area is not where you do your work, it’s nice to be able to look back at completed work to conduct some analysis.

The main improvement is the ability to group, sort, and filter. You will also notice new columns to choose from, like “Done Month/Year” and “Done Week/Year”.

Lastly, you can now save a view that you wish to use often when working with archived cards. Learn more about archiving cards…
