Track wasted effort.
As you move cards on your Kanban board, the cards that get archived without touching a Done column are considered abandoned. The time spent on each of these cards is tracked to evaluate how much time was wasted on each card and the overall amount of abandoned cards is shown on the chart below.
The Abandoned Effort report is very helpful when compared to the Throughput report to assess how much work gets completed vs abandoned. Like the Throughput report, you can view your work by the labels created for this specific Kanban board or use multiple filters and display option to target the exact work you seek to analyze.
