Language learning dashboard Kanban template

Language learning is more than just memorizing vocabulary. It’s also about having a reliable system so you can follow through with your plans. This template serves as your reliable companion, eliminating unnecessary worries and empowering you to stay committed to your language learning goals.

What is a Language Learning Template?

The Language Learning Template is a simple template that will help you learn a language by yourself.

It consists of two core components:

Weekly Agenda: This section serves as the heart of your language learning plan. Here, you can meticulously schedule your language lessons throughout the week. By allocating specific time slots for learning, you not only ensure consistency but also create a dedicated space for your language studies.

Resources Repository: Language learning often involves exploring a vast array of online resources. The template provides a dedicated space for cataloging these valuable materials. You can effortlessly add links, articles, videos, or any other resources you encounter during your language learning journey. This repository simplifies resource management, ensuring you have quick access to supplementary materials whenever needed.

What is included in the template?

Here’s what you’ll get in the template:

  • Four columns: These columns serve distinct purposes, streamlining your learning process. The “Things to Learn” column allows you to list the topics or lessons you intend to study. The “Weekly Agenda” column helps you organize your lessons across the week. The “Done” column tracks completed lessons, marking your progress. Finally, the “Resources” column provides a space to record and categorize valuable online resources.
  • Five labels: Writing, Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Resources. Assigning these labels to your lessons and resources categorizes them, making it easy to identify the focus of each item.

  3. To schedule your week, move the cards (new lessons) to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday columns.
  4. When you’re finished with the lesson, move the card to Done.
  5. Whenever you find related resources that are potentially helpful, add a new card to the Resources column.
