Archiving and Unarchiving a Board

Only Administrators of a board can have access to archive the board.

Archiving a Board

If you’re finished with a board or if you don’t need it anymore (but you still want a record of it), you can archive it.

  1. Click on the Settings button from the top right-hand corner of your Kanban board, then click “Board Designer”.

  2. Once in the Board Designer, click the More (ellipsis) icon on the top right corner, then click “Archive Board”.

  3. A dialog box with the message “Are you sure you want to archive board [your board’s name]?” will appear. Click ‘Archive’ to proceed.

  4. Your board is now archived.

Viewing Archived Boards

  1. To access your archived boards, click your current board name in the top-left corner to open the Board Menu.

  2. Go to the ‘Archived’ tab under the organization name.

  3. There, you will see your archived boards.

Once a board is archived, you can only view it (read-only). You can’t do anything with it until you unarchive it.

Unarchiving Archived Boards

  1. To access your archived boards, click your current board name in the top-left corner to open the Board Menu.

  2. Go to the ‘Archived’ tab under the organization name.

  3. Click the Unarchive icon next to the name of the archived board. A dialog box will appear with the message “Are you sure you want to unarchive board [the name of your board]?” Click ‘Unarchive’ to proceed.
