The ability to communicate clearly on cards to explain what needs to be done is very important. So, we’ve made some very precise card interaction improvements in the description, tasks and comments. We’ve also launched our new flexible pricing to provide the best experience for Personal, Professional and Enterprise plans.
Lastly, we’d like to give you a sneak peak at My Zone, which will be our next big feature. We believe it will significantly improve the way we do Kanban at the individual level and provide a way to see all of your tasks in a single area.
Improved Interactions
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to reference a specific attachment when adding a description, task or comment? Now you can just by clicking the new attachment icon within a description, task or comment.
The screenshot above shows a description. Once you click on an attachment, it will create a hyperlinked text with the name of the attachment. Anyone can now click the hyperlinked text to open the attachment directly from the description, task or comment.
The screenshot above shows a task. You will notice a link icon to the left of the attachment. Simply select the text that you want to hyperlink to a URL and then click the link icon to enter the URL.
The screenshot above shows a comment. You will notice that comments now offer multiple format options.
Flexible Pricing
You can now choose between the Personal (1 to 5 licenses) or Professional (1 to 199 licenses) plans. Previously you could only unlock all of our features with a minimum of 10 licenses, but now all our plans start with a single license. If you need 200 or more licenses, then you may contact us about our Enterprise plan, which we can custom build for your needs to include professional services and volume pricing.
Don’t forget that you only pay for licensed users. Unlicensed users who just need to view or comment on cards are still free!
These changes will not affect your current plan. Instead, when you see the new plans under the billing area, you will be able to decide what is the best option for you.
Coming soon… My Zone!!!
Our next release notes will be about My Zone. This new zone that will focus on showing you all the cards and tasks that you own or choose to target as your main focus. This is the first time in Kanban Zone that you can see all your tasks across multiple boards in your organization.
Above is a sneak peak that we will explain in much more detail when it’s ready, but just know that Kanban Zone is going to increase your productivity not by working harder, but by focusing, limiting and prioritizing all your work. Get ready to become super productive!
