After launching Table zone last month, we followed up with Calendar zone this month. We also focused on adding multiple card improvements associated with priority, converting a task to a card and quickly assigning yourself as an owner.

If you enter due dates on your cards and tasks, then you can now visualize all your due dates on a Calendar view. From the top global navigation, click the new Calendar option to see your cards and tasks in a new way that should help you balance your due dates more effectively.

Once in the Calendar Zone, you are able to click any day to see the Day view that shows the cards and tasks for that day. You can also choose to use a weekly view and decide to show/hide the weekends. Lastly, this is another multiple board view that allows you to select one, multiple or all the boards in your organization.

Card Improvements

We are always seeking to improve Kanban Zone and we did multiple small enhancements to the way you can interact with cards.

Convert Task to Card – You can now convert any task into a card from the ooo menu on a task. Once you do, you can choose to create this card on any board, within a specific column, and link that new card to the current card holding the task.

Make me the owner – By clicking the ooo menu on any card in a Kanban board, you can now make yourself the owner of that card directly from the board.

Card Priority – The previous thermometer icon made it difficult to understand the priority. Therefore we updated the icons to a warning sign with numbers and colors to make identification easier.

As always, if you find an issue or feel something could be improved, please don’t hesitate to send us your feedback so that we can continue to improve Kanban Zone. You will never hurt our feelings, so don’t be shy. We would love to hear from you because your feedback is important to us.
